The addition of BioChem Technology’s BIOS process controls have been included in the design for upgrades to the Abington Township, PA, 4 MGD plant in suburban Philadelphia, as well at the 5 MGD Enfield, Connecticut WWTP.
Both plants have employed the BIOS operating system to control DO set-points through the diurnal cycle. Bio-Chem Technology has worked with both authorities and their consulting engineers to create bioreactors that suit the needs of each community.
