FACILITY PROFILE

Aim for Total Nitrogen and to keep SVI < 85
MLE configuration w/ fixed MLR pumps
Each train has 4 anoxic tanks and 8 aeration tanks with DO set-point control
Minimum temperature 23°C
Maximum temperature 32°C

PROJECT NARRATIVE

A BIOS was installed in one train as a pilot project and the local power supplier (APS) paid for half of the cost under an Energy Efficiency Incentive Scheme.

Reduction of 15.3% was realized under BIOS control
Payback period for the city is less than 1 year
